Our award-winning, slow reared Easter Cockerels offer a great tasting alternative to traditional Lamb. Matured for longer, in natural, wide-open pastures, they develop an exceptional taste and extra succulence. Our cockerels are big enough to feed the whole family, with plenty of meat for leftovers.
Please note that by adding an Easter Cockerel to your order, your entire order will be delivered on Thursday 9th April. If you wish to receive your other items before then, please place a separate order.

Instructions
How to roast:
1. Remove the cockerel from the fridge 30 minutes before cooking.
2. Preheat the oven to 200 0C (standard oven not fan)
3. Season the cockerel and put in a preheated tray for 20 mins.
4. Then reduce the temp down to 180C, and cook for a further 30 minutes per kg.
5. Check that the juices run clear at the end of time using a skewer to the thickest part of the thigh.
6. If the juices are not clear, cook for a further 10 minutes.
7. When cooked remove and rest for 15 minutes.
8. Carve and ENJOY!

Last orders this year will be Sunday 5th April at midnight. Deliveries for Easter will be made on Thursday 9th April. If ordering non-Easter items, please note you must place a separate order if you want these to arrive before your Easter items.
