Kate Humble Finds a Sponsor in Packington

This Thursday marks the start of the 32nd Lichfield Festival, and we’ll be there!

Packington is proud to be sponsor of an evening with Kate Humble.  At 6pm on Monday 8th July, TV presenter Kate, best known for her work on BBC Springwatch, will be talking about her experiences of moving from London to the Wye Valley to take over a 117 acre farm and consequently saving a small part of our British farming heritage.  Kate’s ethical approach to farming and the environment is perfectly tuned with the Packington philosophy, so to sponsor the event seemed a totally logical fit.

Lichfield Festival is an annual celebration of music, literature, drama and art and this year will be running from the 4th-14th July.  Packington are no strangers to Lichfield Festival. Some of you might remember the highly-successful Pig Parade in 2010, which we sponsored and which we were thrilled to know helped raise money for some great local causes.

We’re delighted to not only be involved with the Lichfield Festival again, but are also proud to be associated with an event which touches on issues which are close to our heart.

Tickets for Kate Humble and over 60 other events can be booked at www.lichfieldfestival.org, on 01543 412121, or in person at the Lichfield Garrick.
